We are proud to announce that Pieces of Venice is among the selection of the 2019 ADI Design Index! Our project was selected by the ADI Permanent Observatory of Design for the “Social Design” category. The evaluation parameters of the products were: originality, functional and typological innovation, and choice of materials. Particular relevance was given to products that pay attention to the environment, public and social values, usability, interaction, and Design for All.
Every year, ADI Association for Industrial Design finds the best projects of Italian design on the market and presents them in a series of occasions and venues: in the ADI yearbook where all selected products are published, on a dedicated website, and in a series of exhibitions that will take place this year in Milan, at the Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci (15 – 20 October 2019), and that will later be transferred to Rome, at the Casa dell’Architettura – Acquario Romano (23 – 26 November 2019).
The projects that pass the ADI selection will participate at the 2020 Compasso d’Oro Award.
